Service Description
Course Objectives: Prepares students for a career as a Medical Coder 1. Identify the purpose of the CPT®, ICD-10-CM Code Set, and HCPCS Level II code books 2. Understand and apply the official ICD-10-CM coding guidelines 3. Apply coding conventions when assigning diagnoses and procedure codes 4. Identify the information in appendices of the CPT® manual 5. Explain the determination of the levels of E/M services 6. Code a wide variety of patient services using CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes 7. List the major features of HCPCS Level II Codes 8.Provide practical application of coding operative reports and evaluation and management services

Cancellation Policy
Enrollment in the payment plan requires a deposit of $250.00 which includes the promissory note and obligation to pay the remaining tuition balance in either a weekly or biweekly payment plan arrangement. Tuition is non refundable however, students can reschedule their start date to a later time according to our offered future start date programs. A written request is required for approval to reschedule / postpone start dates. Students who are enrolled in our payment plan are required to pay tuition weekly or biweekly even if the student misses a class session.
