Service Description

Course Objectives: Prepares students for a career as a Medical Coder 1. Identify the purpose of the CPT®, ICD-10-CM Code Set, and HCPCS Level II code books  2. Understand and apply the official ICD-10-CM coding guidelines  3. Apply coding conventions when assigning diagnoses and procedure codes  4. Identify the information in appendices of the CPT® manual  5. Explain the determination of the levels of E/M services  6. Code a wide variety of patient services using CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes  7. List the major features of HCPCS Level II Codes  8.Provide practical application of coding operative reports and evaluation and management services

Cancellation Policy

Enrollment in the payment plan requires a deposit of $250.00 which includes the promissory note and obligation to pay the remaining tuition balance in either a weekly or biweekly payment plan arrangement. Tuition is non refundable however, students can reschedule their start date to a later time according to our offered future start date programs. A written request is required for approval to reschedule / postpone start dates. Students who are enrolled in our payment plan are required to pay tuition weekly or biweekly even if the student misses a class session.
